STUDY PATHWAY – B1 & B2 HAVE TWO OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM

OPTION 1
Training Organisation + Practical Work Experience

Full Time or Part Time @ Training Organisation

  • Certificate IV - Aeroskills (Avionics) (MEA40618)

  • Certificate IV - Aeroskills (Mechanical) (MEA40718)

  • OR Certificate IV - Aeroskills (Structures) (MEA41322) = Qualified AME

Start Working to Gain Practical Experience
Component includes examination against Part 66 Basic Knowledge Modules (minimum % achievement levels required) and Assessment of practical experience (on-the-job) logbook = Qualified LAME

This option allows candidates to meet the CASA Modular Licence requirements which can be desirable to employers

OPTION 2
Part 66 Self-Study Pathway + Practical Work Experience

Part 66, Self-Study Pathway
Study of the set syllabus via text materials at the candidates own pace with employer / industry support.  Examination against Part 66 Basic Knowledge Modules (minimum % achievement levels required).

Practical Experience
Work while studying to gain practical hands-on experience with an employer.  Assessment of practical experience (on-the-job) logbook = Qualified LAME
